How did you find it? I've heard it can be an amazing experience. Whereabouts were you in your travels? Sex is an excellent distraction.

This is an unrelated anecdote, but when I was in university a roommate of a friend was from Iran. He came from a wealthy family who sent him here to study electrical engineering, very bright guy. However, he was absolutely mystified at how much harder it was to get laid here. He thought that liberated women meant fewer hangups when it comes to sex. He and a couple of his friends confirmed that it was much easier to get laid in Iran. You just don't want to get caught.

One thing I learned growing up is that if you wanted to get laid you focused on picking up a girl from the catholic school, and it was a solid plan that worked. All that religious oppressive dogma made them all the more eager to rebel against those constraints. That's not to say the public school girls were chaste, lol.

Likely not the proper forum for this, but for those whose gyms have re-opened, is wearing a mask mandatory? I never heard of this new policy, which seems far too late, imo, but to wear a mask while doing deadlifts? It's asking for problems. My gym doesn't have AC, so it's hot as balls, and I have asthma, so not sure if I can opt out, but it still seems ridiculous.
Three months ago I could have seen the merits, not knowing what we know now. It's that or I'll keep my membership on hold until the fall.

I knew something was up yesterday as I was one of 3 people not wearing a mask in the grocery store. Eventually I got the attention of an attractive woman and asked her what the deal was. A minute into the conversation her bf joined us, fml.

Totally agree. If the non Chinese countries do not affiliate and disassociate with everything China we will be over run. Look what they r doing to Australia (taking away students... Not buying from them). Hong Kong is the worse I have ever seen in terms of just going in a taking over and imposing communist law. And the law does not just extend to the Chinese that stay in Hong Kong. It extends to everyone in Hong Kong and to those citizens abroad. They can come in swoop Hong Kong citizens up and take them back to China and imprison them. A united front against the arrogant tyrannical CCP must happen or democracies around the world will fall. And how did China get a seat on the human Rights Council of the UN... U have got to be kidding... Countries and/or ppl are being greased or threatened for that to happen.

UN is a joke. I have a feeling it will have very little influence in the future. Look at the WHO, part of the UN, they held off on investigating the cov in china and avoided making any announcements that went against what china was pushing in the initial period of the out break. For some reason they are all afraid of pissing off china. When you have a org that is suppose to represent all members and they bend over backwards for one, they have no credibility. The WHO recently were resistent on publishing the cov small aerisol findings that 200 expertz supported, documented and emailed to the WHO. FFS they are suppose to be protecting us not disagreeing with a group of experts who have phd's in epidemiology. All political cover your ass bullshit.
