What Actually is Going on Inside You?

Well I found out some wonderful stuff regarding getting procedures done in Vietnam. At the International Hospital an MRI can be purchased for $200USD that scans the brain to the stem. They also offer a report with the consultation as well as give you the digital file of the MRI.

A tooth quoted at $3500CAD plus HST from my dentist is $300USD there. US trained staff, English speaking.

Laughing at the idea at the beginning I wasn't after asking a lot of questions over there. It's real. Procedures done at an amazing price and quality just as good as here. Same goes for Philippines. They are a bit pricier however they do things that even we can't get done here in Canada.

Free health care is absolutely amazing... But health care providers are starting to catch on at the prices set by hospitals/doctors/clinics etc..

In the future I can see some regulations coming in that set caps on various things such as a MRI on the head can be max 2000$.

For anyone who has full dental, tell your dental clinic you want copies of all the reciepts and records for work you've had done there. YOu'd be shocked how many clinics will tack shit on you didn't actually get... even charging you for floride which you didn't get doesn't seem like much, but if you stick that charge on 10 patients per day, they make lots of $$ for services they did not do.

I always request an all inclusive cost in writing before I proceed. I have had success getting 90%+ cost recovered from Blue cross.

I can truly attest to that. My Wife is a dental assistant and tells me all kinds of stories of Dentists instructing their secretaries in subtle ways to add different oddities with different codes on the bill, so patients don't catch on unless savvy.

Indian dentists especially, enough said!
