Open discussion on peptides that may help anxiety / stress reactions

I am not making any definitive statements, this is a topic that impacts many people, hence may be worth discussing.

There are a lot of new peptides coming out that use a different mechanism for controlling anxiety or reducing stress hormones (cortisol/adrenaline). Anyone who suffers from anxiety, no stigma as it is no different from diabetes, may want to explore some of these. Who doesn't want to be a little more chill and relaxed? I don't suffer from anxiety but have a high stress job, and my side job - I do not want to blunt my stress 'flight or fight' hormones.
Curious, if anyone wants to share their stories of their use of these peptides either to protect against neurotoxic compounds, stress, anxiety, etc.
Again, no stigma and anyone who decides to take shots at anyone who suffers from anxiety or mental illness, will quickly be shut down. It is more popular than statistically known, as most men have been taught it is not masculine to be anxious, depressed, etc.

Just basic medical site readings on studies indicate a lot of potential in these especially for protection, healing, controlling the stress response.
If you tried any could you use them intermittently for times of stress and did they help quickly? How quickly did they dissipate and you felt back to your equilibrium?

There was a time we needed the flight or fight, to escape Sabre Tooth tigers or we were dinner. Now, sitting at a chair working away under stress, these hormones ravage the body and are not health and can become chronic.

Question - considering you will most likely be in a situation where you need your stress hormones at some point in your life, which help increase reaction time and strength (temporarily followed by a down period). I am referring to people breaking into your house, someone pulls a knife on you and you can't get away. If you are like me, I won't do as the Gov't wishes and let people take my hard earned property, or hide. I want the extra strength, reaction time, increased alertness to react to protect my family hence the question.
Same with people who work jobs that are dangerous - Doormen, real security jobs, professions that may require strength/reaction time at different times. I am not advocating for violence, but there are times having those stress hormones are helpful.

Many of the anxiety/chronic stress medical treatments/vs. adaptogens are very addictive and stopping I read can be a serious nightmare and dangerous, you have to reduce the dosage very slowly over an extended period. The peptides I have read about are not and I believe peptides are an underutilized medical intervention. Unfortunately, NA has not caught up to other countries yet in studies and receiving approval so people rely on the 'other' market for peptides.

Just food for thought - I had enough situations where I was happy I had 15 minutes of adrenaline and stress hormones flowing through my body to help me deal with 'issues'. We have all heard of the stories of a regular person lifting a car off a person to save their life. Those stories are not BS, and they are not strongmen - regular women and men who had to save their child and the body dumped enough hormones to give them the strength to remedy the situation.

Just food for thought. If no one wants to share their situation, I respect that, but open discussions may help others.

take care,
GR

I tried semax and selank - little to nothing, maybe needed a big dose
I think oddly enough higher doses of reta make me much flatter, less stressed, less anxious, less reactive. Just more flat, up or down. Also kills my desire to drink, smoke and fuck. Mixed bag.
