This show has started for another year of episodes (episode 1 just passed). If you watched the past years - the plot is good, sometimes the shows are very action oriented and is one of my favourites.
Just a FYI for anyone who missed it. Jeremy Renner is a great actor and Emma Laird is one attractive lady to put it lightly and a good actress. If you haven't checked out this show - highly recommend it.

I highly recommend it as well :)

I opened this thread thinking this was going to be a documentary about Kingston lol. Glad I was wrong.

I thought this was pretty cool:
The area is based on the real city of Kingston, Ontario, Canada, known for its many prisons, while the prison in the show is based on the historic Kingston Penitentiary in Canada, which was used for filming. Although the show is set in fictional "Kingstown, Michigan," it draws inspiration from the Canadian city where co-creator Hugh Dillon grew up.
Inspiration for the area: The fictional Kingstown is based on Kingston, Ontario, Canada, because of its history with multiple correctional facilities.
Inspiration for the prison: The prison shown in the series is the real Kingston Penitentiary, which served as the primary filming location for both interior and exterior shots in the first season.
Filming locations: While the show is set in Michigan, its initial production took place in Kingston, Ontario, and other Ontario locations like Toronto, Hamilton, and Burlington. Subsequent seasons have been filmed in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area.
