Masteron Bloodwork

Hey Everyone,

One of my first posts here, looking forward to learning and contributing to this group.

I'm on TRT @ 140mg/week and am considering adding low to moderate dose Masteron to my regimen. Why? Although TRT has helped me immensely, I felt 5x better after adding low dose Proviron to the routine for a month. Positive aggression, better at work, increased sex drive, all the things I thought I was signing up for going on TRT in the first place. My expectations were probably too high.

I really want to steer clear of orals to supplement TRT, the limited data I've seen out there shows that even low doses of oral 17aa DHT derivatives can more than halve your HDL, increase your LDL and have bad effects on apo(a). I recall one study that looked at 6mg of oral winstrol causing havoc on blood lipids, even several months after cessation. It looks like the activation of hepatic lipase is partly but not fully to blame, some orals potentiate this which causes increased HDL metabolism in the liver, which we don't want.

The effects of Masteron look to be reasonably similar to Proviron, hence my interest. There is no solid data on the blood lipid affects of Masteron on its own, and I was hoping to hear some anecdotal stories of pre-and-post bloodwork for those who have taken Masteron to supplement either TRT or a low dose T cycle. Really appreciate any feedback. If I decide to go ahead with this, I'll do my own bloodwork and share it with the group

Welcome again Shute,

Masteron can be very good in place of an AI and I personally used it in almost every cycle I’ve run in recent times. Both it a proviron, for me have very similar effects, except proviron gives me incredibly bad heartburn.

The only issue is always if you are on prescribed TRT it can mess with your numbers and skew bloodwork. This becomes a problem as your dr may then want to adjust your dosage.

Ive been lucky my Dr only checks my test levels once a year and I keep an eye on the rest with my own blood tests…for the most part.
