Hi all

I’m looking for information on how to relieve IBS-C. I figured there’d be some knowledge and/or experience on this board.

Specifically:
- FODMAP?
- Foods to remove?
- Food to add?
- Fermented foods (sauerkraut, kimchi, kefir, etc)? How much? Can too much cause further issues?
- Hydration?
- Fiber?
- Supplementation?

Thanks!

I would opt for an allergy test before changing anything just to rule a few things out and then maybe go from there unless already done.

I’m not asking for myself. I’m trying to help someone else work through their issue. So basically elimination diet and additional fibre is likely the answer?

Yeh i forgot the probiotics. They never helped me with my issues but it helps some people with ibs.
Ibs is a very finicky thing with no one size fits all answer but usually probiotics and or fiber and eliminating foods that upset the digestive track will be the best that can be done.
Experimentation with those options to see what works best should help though.
