Gyno

Hey all,
I started TRT about 4 months ago at 100mg a week. After 2 months I decided to up it to 200mg per week and add 300mg a week deca. About a month and a half ago I started to develop gyno on my right side. I have been taking Nolvadex (40 mg per day) for almost a month, and instead of fixing the problem, I'm starting to get sensitive and develop on my left side as well. I'm not sure anyone else can notice it, but I can and it's driving me mad! Did I get bad Nolvadex or should I be trying something else, and what dose?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, but Im thinking the doctor didn't look at or check for much. The only thing she discussed with me was my testosterone level. She said It was average at 17. Then told me average is anywhere from 7 to 32.
I'm kind of in panic mode about the gyno situation at this point.

You got Trt from Dr then went to a full blown cycle with higher deca then test ratio

Can be prolactin
Can be estrogen

Adding an ai would be suffice IMO with the nolva at 20mg

Could be prolactin if you already had high prolactin deca will push it higher
Same with Estrogen

You have to know what your goals are and plan around them and prep for them with the proper products

Ideally some ai like .5mg adex eod or e3d with 20mg NOlva ed can help

If it’s prolactin issue gyno
Then need caber

Based on 6 weeks +
It can be due to deca

I appreciate the advice! I definitely should have looked into it more and planned better. The doctors here don't seem to be overly helpful. What exactly should I be asking for them to look at in terms of bloodwork?

You could possibly reduce your dose until you got things sorted out then slowly build back up to your desired cycle dose. I don't like the idea of throwing more compounds in the mix when I run into issues. I get bloodwork and usually just reduce my dose.

17 is a good number
You shouldn’t be prescribed trt at 17
Confused too - who the heck prescribes TRT if your testosterone is at 17. If that doctor gets questioned, they should be prepared to answer a lot of questions regarding quality of life, other issues like ED and even then they have to explore a shit load of possibilities before giving you test.

@Cdot - Get a full hormonal panel done by the doctor or pay for it yourself - test, free test, estrogen, prolactin, LH, SHBG, they often check total protein too.
I would be asking for a CBC as well, just because it is better to have more info.
If you wish, redact all personal info and post the results. Tons of guys here who know more than the average GP about hormones and what to do if you are having side effects.

^^^^^ my take - meanwhile don't fuck with it. Stop all the roids for a month, don't scratch it , squeeze it etc
get your actual full previous blood work results
