Groundbreaking cholesterol jab could revolutionise heart disease care

Right now human understanding is still in its infancy. One day there really will be anti heart attack jab, anti cancer jab etc and they'll work.

I thought they were past the whole cholesterol causes heart disease thing?
Was that not junk science to sell statin drugs and in return lower testosterone levels of men?
Yea in a way but its actually more triglycerides and oxidized ldl.

1. LDL enters the artery wall

LDL particles (especially small, dense ones) can slip through the endothelium (the inner lining of blood vessels).

2. Oxidation occurs

Once inside the arterial wall, LDL particles can become damaged by free radicals, inflammation, or enzymes.

This changes them into oxidized LDL (oxLDL), which the body recognizes as “foreign” or harmful.

3. Immune response

White blood cells (macrophages) try to clean up oxLDL.

They engulf it, turning into foam cells.

4. Plaque formation

Foam cells pile up inside the artery wall, forming fatty streaks.

Over time, these grow into atherosclerotic plaques (hard deposits of fat, cholesterol, and immune cells).

5. Narrowing and instability

Plaques can narrow arteries, restricting blood flow.

If plaques rupture, they trigger blood clots, which can cause heart attacks or strokes.

I have nothing against statins but I know they can be pretty toxic in high doses. Anti oxidamts like ubiquinol are a lot safer and very useful. Anti inflamitorys as well such as omega 3. But omega 3s get oxidized easily also thats why good olive oil is sold in tinted bottles and usually cold pressed. Once olive oil gets heated to its smoking point it oxidizes and basically becomes Trans fat. Ironically this then creates free radicals and ultimately causes the inflamation you were trying to avoid in the first place. Same with fish oil. Crack it open and smell it right away if its rancid it is oxidized and toxic. If it smells like fresh fish it is good.

Unless you are a person with a liver issues (not disease - usually genetics), that causes cholesterol issues - no one is jabbing me with anything unless I had high cholesterol and my diet could not fix it. Not against medication in the least when it is needed, but moderation with fast food/eating foods/few supplements that are known to lower cholesterol, and maybe a little exercise can go a long way. @Bigbear thanks for posting as I never heard of this medication before and just starting reading. At least this medication impacts your RNA and not DNA if they find out in 10 years there are issues with the injection.

Statins are a necessary evil for some but are toxic medications on the liver, hence why any doctor who is responsible will monitor your liver enzymes at minimum every 3-6 months.
Regarding oxidation/longevity of specific healthy oils, many I consider at the top of the pile, can be put in the refrigerator and if you are concerned about light, cover the entire bottle with a dark wrap.
