Cheers Mates!
If my current TRT protocol is 135mg/week Test E - and I may even go up to 150mg/week….
Is there a point in doing a 250mg/week cycle in the winter?
I’m still leaning towards most benefit from least side effects - but is this too small of a jump from my TRT?
Morning
@JayJay24 - not sure anyone is going to call me wise as this is a question for the wise, but there is no exact answer. Some guys have commented about huge cycles and when you experience serious side effects, it is time to 'thug' through them and ignore them. I emphatically disagree, but I don't disagree with anyone's right to use large cycles, it is none of my business what anyone uses but to think anything is free is ridiculous. The more PED's, especially the guys claims to use harsh orals for years and how well they work or large doses of harsh injectables that are hard on the liver, kidneys, and lipids and think because they are OK now, they will be OK years down the road, would be an outlier. Most people will experience some health issue from PED abuse.
No PED use is healthy outside of TRT when needed but the more you can get out the least amount used the better your chances of not experiencing side effects or health issues down the road.
You are talking about a significant increase in your testosterone and if you have your diet planned (if not hire
@Funnyman), train hard, and get enough rest you should see excellent results. For those that say 250 mg is not a blast, according to the 'norm' it is not, but it is to me. I go from 100 mg of test (TYT) to 250 for 3-4 months which is a 150% increase in the amount of testosterone in my body. I am not dim and know many cruise between their larger cycles at 250-500 mg of test per week but long term this is not wise.
Do I notice it - absolutely. The comments on you only have one first cycle, is true as how the F can you have two, but I can get more out of 250 mg of test now than I could when I was younger and pyramided with a max of 400-500 mg/week. Over the years I learned what exercises I respond best to, how to eat to grow, how much rest I need so I don't get injured.
No judgment on anyone who uses higher doses or different compounds but there is nothing wrong with your philosophy. No one should insult you for going against the grain. Using a lower dose gives you lots of room to experiment down the road with another compound added in or a higher dosage.
Good luck - if you do this, keep us posted.
