What I have learned about a shock wave machine

Well I now know that shock wave therapy is not a bullshit thing that is hype.
My good shoulder is almost crackle free, the bicep tendon in that shoulder has been agrivated for like a year and it is now completely pain free and has full range of motion. When I pull back to lets say bench, before it would feel like the tendon was super tight like it was going to snap, that doesn’t happen anymore.

Once I get my wife to work the back side, then I believe the crackle will be completely gone after a couple treatments.

Now for the bad shoulder. It is coming along nicely, the strength is coming back again.

Now I really went hard on it yesterday, got my wife to do the back, I worked away on the front, side and bicep tendon, well fuck me my shoulder was so tight today, I had to do exercises like I almost had frozen shoulder. But the positive is that there is no more impingement when I lift the arm to the front anymore after the last treatment. It feels like I did a super hard shoulder day, like an insane one that you regret the next day because you can barely lift your arm without stretching it first, lol.

So I know the machine does promote healing.

Honestly if I had a choice between spending a bunch of money on BPC, TB and copper peptide, I would put that money towards the machine, because I beleive you get more out of it then the peptides.

I have stopped all peptides now, no more deca, just 2 iu of gh a day.

I also increased my protien and am still taking my collagen.

At this rate, I believe I will be 100% by mid January. I will go to my online doctor the first week of January and ask for another ultrasound or MRI to see what has really happened to be able to compare. But I believe it will be a favourable outcome.

Still havn’t used it on my dick yet. Not sure if I will. But I had to discontinue the deca because my dick was failing me. Just staying hard long enough to get my wife off, then it would die, lol. Fucker, now that will take a couple weeks to clear up. Thank god for cialis.

Which model did you buy? Used or new? If you don't mind me asking, where did you buy it as I have been pretty lucky since going back to the gym with injuries but know at some point I will injure something. Further, there are some chronic injuries that don't bother me much, but I am aware of them hence I would like to treat them. I think you mentioned there is maintenance to the machine, if I am getting you confused with someone else - apologies. How would it work on the dong for ED if you are getting ED from a medication? If you had peyronie's disease I could see how it would prevent scarring and the curve. Bull said it created new veins - @Taureau - have you tried it and did you go in for treatment or buy a machine? I am curious for the Peyronie's disease as I injured my dong twice. Too hard and when she leaned back, I heard and felt a snap. It wasn't bad the first time, the second time it was torture for months until I started taking BPC157 and TB500 which seemed to help as it was the tendon that was injured just like any tendon in the body.

I bought mine on amazon. I used it to treat myself. You can go for treatments but thats to rich for cheap me to do :)

"Shock wave therapy, also known as low-intensity extracorporeal shock wave therapy (LI-ESWT), uses targeted sound waves to stimulate blood flow in the penis. This treatment aims to enhance the body's natural healing processes by promoting the growth of new blood vessels, which is crucial for achieving and maintaining an erection"

No idea what it does for ED. I didn't buy it for that. I haven't even bothered to look that up to see what to do.

I bought a mid line machine, a heavy duty commercial one is about 10 grand, I spent 2000. I wanted to make sure it had the power to break up the calcification and bone spurs. I have not ran it past 4, it can go to 8. I am thinking 8 might be too much for anything except bone spurs, it would cause too much damage. I normally run it at 2.5.

Maintenance is a joke and they tell you what to do. Only thing I did different was to lube the tube with some of the silicone lube I have for my 3d printer. It is like water as far a consistency and I found the machine threw the bullet better. Other than that you drain the water from the water extractors.

Thing is far easier to use than I thought it would be. There really isn't any perfect way, everyone has their own method.

It is perfect for chronic injuries that your body doesn't bother to try and heal anymore.

Is it as obnoxiously loud as the professional ones?

Yep. It doesn't bother me, I work in a louder environment all day at work. It is exactly the same as a professional one, just a chinese knock off version. So it wouldn't likely last as long in a commercial setting but will last me a lifetime.

I haven't heard about this before. Very intersting.

Glad you're feeling better Sorbate
Thanks

It's getting there very slowly. Still have a mild impingement when lifting my arm out front. But considering how it sounded and felt when it popped, it may take 6 months. If you were training with me, you would have heard it. Been almost 10 weeks now. At least I have no aching or pain when I sleep.

Got to ask...

When you started using the machine were you also on BCP? If so, how many weeks did you take BCP while using the machine and how many weeks to you use the machine past when you stopped bcp?

I ask because I'm very interested in your results, but I'd want to know if your results are all from the machine or other factors?

Since the first time I read you talking about this, I’ve been thinking about buying one. No one offers this service where I’m from anyway, and I’ve already spent too much on peptides for not much improvement…

Which one did you end up buying?

Is it hard to use? I guess not, but still haha.

What should I watch out for if I’m about to buy one?

When I get home tonight I will attach the pic from amazon where I bought it. There is one that is a bit better for like $200 more, so I'll add it as well.

It is a joke to use. You really can't do it wrong. I have watched countless vids, some guys grind it like they are scraping as it shocks, some move slowly hitting the sore areas long and so on.

I like going slowly and when I find a sore spot I focus on it and then work up and down the muscle and tendon. When my wife did my shoulder blade she just flopped around all over the place, but it still worked, lol.

Is one way better than the other? Likely not, as long as you do the preset number of shocks, its likely fine.

Did use it with BPC, but only once. Then I discontinued the bpc and just ran gh and copper peptide.
Then stopped everything except gh. Still healing at the same rate. Truthfully not sure how much bpc and tb really did to help. I think the gh and the other supplements like collagen and HA did more.

The machine is not a perfect solution that will cure all. If you don't have the extra money to spend on a toy, then I wouldn't.

My main reason for purchasing was to get rid of the calcification in my tendons and remove the bone spurs, which it does do and there is studies proving it. It has also been shown in studies to help realign tendon fibers so they heal better. More or less I want to turn my old abused frayed tendons back into younger nice healthy tendons.

It doesn't get rid of impingement. That has to heal on it's own. Actually as I have found out, if you use it too often it might delay getting rid of an impingement because it causes inflammation. So I gotta quit using it on my right injured shoulder until the impingement is completely gone.

But that is why it works so well on chronic injuries. It cause inflammation and increase blood flow and that reminds your body to go back and fix that old injury that it has been ignoring.

Like my left shoulder that I hurt over a year ago. The loud crackling I used to hear when I lifted my shoulder is pretty much gone. The tight aggravated tendon that was a chronic problem in my left bicep is now pretty much gone. Those two things would not have healed with bpc or tb or gh or whatever. My body had just got used to it and didn't bother repairing it completely anymore, IMO.

That is what I am trying to avoid

Yeah I don’t wish it on anyone. I mean it didn’t change my quality of life too much, i didnt loose any curling strength per se on a straight curl but I did loose à little on supination.

It did however change the shape of my bicep. Actually looks a lot better now having changed my assertion point (not exactly what happen but I’m running a blank with words at the moment) I’m sure you kind of know what I mean. The muscle bulges a lot more. I even joked with the doc and asked if he can disconnect the same tendon on the other side, obviously he just chuckled.

Unfortunately he refuses to reattach it saying that it’s more likely to make things worse rather then better and that in his 20 years he says he never seen or heard of both tearing. He actually has the same thing on one arm. Felt weird when I started adding weight to it after the injury but now I don’t really notice it too much I’ve learned to work around it
