Huge uproar in the CyberSec community over YouTube’s clumsy and heavy handed ban on instructional security vids.If you are not aware of the developing threats you will not likely be able to defend. These vids are a springboard for many developing security professionals. If anything is going to drive the creation of an alternative to YouTube, this will be it.Censorship from Google,Facebook,Twitter etc,is starting to resemble China.
Apparently this was sparked by Null Byte posting a bid on how to launch July the 4th fireworks over wifi.Power Over Internet boards are widely available to control household items.Google has a system to control your household over the net,Alexa.

Lol because youtube is the holy grail for hackers ... not. If anything they are just going to make themselves a target. And the cheesy hacks available on YouTube will thrive somewhere else

YouTube has been a shit platform for years.

They're just so we'll established that no one has been able to dethrone them.

Hopefully another platform comes to overthrow. Maybe pornhub actually will come forward and make a competitor. People have been telling them to for years!

Any info on You Tube you can find on paid online courses such as Udemy or Offensive Security.Car companies are improving security driven by people on YouTube demonstrating the weaknesses.....

Internet censorship has really spun out of control this year, it's disturbing to watch. Soon enough YouTube will be indistinguishable from a traditional cable TV network.

hak5 still up and they sell nasty infiltration tools
And a Chinese spy was caught trying to enter Trump's Mar A Lago resort earlier this year with a Bad USB device. Will they go away if Hak5 stops selling?Yes they are still up,it may have been just a warning. You must be aware of these threats and how they work for network admins to learn how to defend.
