vitamin D may help muscle strength as well as other benefits

Good stuff, Vitamin D is year round for me. I was just in Maui for a few weeks recently and I was strong as heck when we went to the gym etc in the ams. I can also say my sex drive gets crazy when extra vitamin D from the sun. Maybe it was just the stress relief from not thinking or bringing a computer with me. I find it to be one of my supps I always keep using.

Whats the theroy behind this? Is it injectable?
Nope, just oral. It's fat soluble. Doesn't necessarily need daily dosing. There are a few studies that show much larger doses reducing incidence of return of treated illnesses, improved immune function. I've seen studies showing upwards of 150000ius 2x a week for cancer patients having amazing benefits. Something to do with peak concentrations blah blah blah. I'd honestly have to re-read the studies; it was a while ago. But, As for the 3x a week higher dose dosing vs daily dosing for myself, other than the potential benefits of the higher dose... it's like, cypionate. Sure, I could dose cypionate ED at lower doses and achieve the same result, but levels stay stable with fewer doses. Is that a terrible analogy? Hahah.

I been taking vitamin D for 2 years and I don't notice anything different.

I know i need the the stuff, a blood test shows it.

What dosage are you taking? If taking within a normal range, it's not necessarily something you will "feel". Kinda like... if you're on trt and a doc has you on 200mgs every 4 weeks. You won't really "feel" that dosage; it's just the amount the body requires for proper function. That being said, even higher doses don't necessarily reflect in the way you "feel"

Last year when i was actually focused on making some gains, i was taking 10,000 iu of D3 every day plus calcium and zinc. I always felt good.
Sad part is i have lots sitting there now. Right beside my hgh, mast, deca, etc. Just can never be bothered to take any of it consistently lately.

3-5000 daily depending on bloods for me.
Please remember there is a toxicity issue at higher doses than you need.
Gel caps (and liquids) are absorbed much much better than tablets, which iirc are damn near useless, you'd have to look it up.
Also afaik MSP will not normally cover the cost of bloodtest (the 25 Hydroxy test). Only way to have it covered is to get a req from a specialist. I use my cardiologist. Last I remember it was about $65 if you had to pay.

This is what I used to dial in levels - https://www.grassrootshealth.net/document/serum-level-vs-intake/

You can get D levels checked via letsgetchecked also.

Yep, I would ask for the specific name of the test they do before I bought though. I can't really back up shit on this subject atm because it's been to long but I believe it's pretty important to get the 25 Hydroxy D test specifically.

I'll be honest, I have no idea what test it is they do. LOL.

Would you be able to post any of those studies? I would like to read.

I was deficient and got prescribed a mega dose. Felt so much better and happier. I can’t comment on other benefits yet.
