And, putting aside the “shit show” which is actually a creation of the liberal media, which of trumps actual policies that he was successful in carrying out, like scaling back pointless war, cutting taxes for working class, bringing back industry, cracking down on human trafficking, nailing those fuckers bringing in fentanyl, and being energy independent do you oppose?
Fentanyl Overdose Deaths - Source:

Deaths due to fentanyl use have risen since 2016.
-The administration has zeroed-in on efforts to lower the body count caused by opioid overdoses, but deaths due to synthetic opioids, such as fentanyl, have continued to rise and deaths involving cocaine and psychostimulants such as methamphetamine and MDMA have also risen
- In 2019, reported deaths from drug overdose in the USA reached an all-time high of almost 72 000, with opioids involved in more than two-thirds of the total deaths.
1
- In 2018, the Trump administration secured US$6 billion to address opioid use disorder over 2 years through the Initiative to Stop Opioid Abuse.
16... the impact of this funding remains to be seen as overdose deaths have increased into 2020.

(I read about a couple drug busts, but since when have drug busts affected drug use? War on Drugs?? lol)

manufacturing employment data from January 2009, when Obama took office, through August 2020
- The actual rise prior to the coronavirus pandemic was about 450,000 manufacturing jobs. Trump claimed 700000. This total omits jobs lost during covid.
- From the low point of the recession in 2010, the manufacturing sector added 916,000 jobs on Obama’s watch. That was roughly seven years, about twice the amount Trump’s been in office, so on an annual basis, the manufacturing employment gains per year were roughly similar between the two presidents.
- Manufacturing output rose during the first year and a half of Trump’s presidency, but at a rate not much faster than during most of Obama’s presidency. And after that, output stagnated or even declined slightly.
Trafficking - Source: newrepublic.com/article/156579
- The administration touts prosecutions as victories against trafficking, but in fiscal year 2018 federal investigations in the Justice Department
decreased significantly, from 783 to 657, as did the number of defendants charged with human trafficking.
[The reality of the policies, and this topic as a whole is far more complex than you, or I realize. There were certain gains, but as a whole it's more failure than success. If you wish to learn more there are several articles online.]
Energy Independence -

Petroleum Supply Monthly
- Net petroleum trade is calculated as the total imports of crude oil and petroleum products minus the total exports of crude oil and petroleum products. In September 2019, the United States became a
net petroleum exporter for the first time since monthly records began in 1973.
- However, the United States is a net importer of crude oil. In November 2019, the latest monthly data, it imported 5.8 million b/d of crude oil and exported 3.0 million b/d of crude oil. The United States is a net exporter of petroleum products (such as distillate fuel, motor gasoline, and jet fuel).
- only the U.S. Gulf Coast currently exports more crude oil than it imports (there are five 'energy regions' in the U.S.)
* Canada is the largest source of crude oil imports for the Midwest, which is now the largest crude oil importing region
- EIA forecasts that the United States will remain a net importer of crude oil in both years, importing a net 3.9 million b/d of crude oil in 2020 and 2.9 million b/d in 2021.
[The gains made in reducing reliance on foreign oil have been attributed to fracking, which saw a boom in activity beginning in the 1990's, when it became commercially viable... the trend of increasing production from fracking significantly predates trump.]
Energy policy under Biden is a big win for Canada. The more restrictions there are on fracking, and regulations restricting zombie loans to support overleveraged oil companies (many of which are facing insolvency issue) will come to an end. This is a win win for oil prices and Canadian oil production. Oil prices will rise with lower production, and Cdn crude demand will increase.
Taxes
I realize he cut taxes. That did help some.
Wars
- The US still has troops in Syria, Iraq, Cuba, and Afghanistan. He has not ended any wars or completely removed US troops from any country in the Mideast. ( I understand you said scaled back, which means what? b/c he never ended any active operations )
- Trump's sanctions on Iran have undone years of diplomacy and the nuclear treaty, to which Iran agreed not to pursue the development of nuclear grade uranium. It ensured that inspectors from the AEC (atomic energy commission) had access to all areas, in order to ensure compliance with the agreement.
- 'Trump's illegal and unfounded economic blockade on Iran have the same effect if not greater than a military blockade. And a military blockade is an act of war. ' - Such a great strategy b/c the sanctions against Cuba had such spectacular results, lol. Iran is closer to China and Russia more than ever.
- Again, the widespread impact of that decision is complex. Feel free to research it.
I can make a million claims, but without source material it means nothing. This data is based on government data, an esteemed medical journal, the U.S. Energy Administration data.
So, trump cut taxes. That's it. Big deal.
