I have been much larger in my youth and downsized to be more athletic. Then got too thin and now trying to get back to "B" but my aspirations at 47 do not go beyond that

A mix between A-B for me.

Though my weight has already surpassed the 80-90kg. I'm 6'3 so I think that makes a difference.

I guess the true questions is do you aspire to the Physique , Classic, or Open Class look. I too am over 6' so ya the weights are not really relevant. That said i am also very small boned so when people see me in shorts and a T they think i am much heavier than i am.

My genetics dictate 'A'

'C' would ideal, but will never be possible due to the genetic constraints. If I can make it to 'B' I'd be happy, but its a real uphill battle.

Im 6'2" and just weighed in at 247lb morning weight (112kg). So the weights in that pic are definitely not relevant.

No matter what I do my calves will always be 'A'. I've completely given up on those.

I think at 6'2 247 you are well on the way to B (Classic Physique). No sure how lean you are but if a muscled guy at 6'2 could get lean (10-12%) at 225ish that is a substantial physique. That is Chris Bumstead like numbers.

As for calves...never give up on them...IMO they are a critical piece of overall symmetry. Mine were brutal for decades, always wore long pants, gave up on them. Then did jiu jitsu 5+ days a week for a few decades...always pushing off with bare feet. One day someone said "nice calves" and for the first time i notice that they were growing...in my late 30s. So i doubled down and worked them twice per week. One workout is at home. i do body weight on the stairs (combination of both one and two feet). Never count sets, i just keep going until i hit 250 reps, slow with a big stretch. 2nd workout is on leg day and do 20-30 reps sets X 5 sets...never less reps. whatever it takes to hit that number, rest-pause, drop sets, etc. I grew them another inch and a 1/2 over the last 2 years...i plan to keep going. PLUS i always wear short to the gym so i have to look at them.

I competed as A and B.

Personally I feel better and sleep better as type A.

If I were to competed again In BB it would be in the middle of A&B. Plus I'm 5'6 so it's Easier to get think when your shorter.

Had to search Chris, very impressive. I dont forsee myself ever looking like that.

Im fairly lean overall. Bulking up now so my gut is out there, but Ive still got morning upper abs visible. My weight comes from density, not overall size. My extremedies are long and lean. Lousy quad sweep, and bicep insertions that are in my wrists. Large waist too, 33 if i cut way down.

Definitely stuck in 'A' town, but Ive nothing better to do than try to move to 'B'

Na, screw my calves. Ill just pump em up with synthol. Problem solved.

Right now I have B’s arms and forearms on A’s body, lol. I was getting to the far end of B before I got sick.
