Test flu is different then the real flu in that you do not throw up when you have test flu. Test flu usually hits you when your first starting your cycle. Its your bodies reaction to the introduction of something foreign entering your body that your body is trying to fight off. It can also because by the initial spike in hormones you get when your starting your cycle.

Typically test flue last 12 hours or so compared to real flu which may last up to a week.

So no need to panic if you get flu like symptoms while on cycle. Its normal and varies from individual to individual.
