@animal-inside I was definitely “Under the Influence” the first time I heard many of these songs (and 2nd & 3rd times too)— Great music! Great memories!

I remember being so high one time with my buddies one time when I was about 20.. We were hanging out in the basement of someone's house barely awake and completely stoned, and this one came on the stereo... I was not ready to hear such a deep haunting song lol.. It put me over the edge at that point in time

I used to debate who was better, The Beatles or The Animals. I think the Animals smoked them with the early stuff. The White Album was something else though.

• This performance took place just a few months before the plane crash that killed 3 band members, including vocalist Ronnie Van Zant
• Performing in front of a huge rebel flag would never fly today
