Low T3 thyroid issue

I recently went to my doctor to get a referral for a sleep clinic. I have more bad sleeps than good lately, I'm tired of being tired.

No problem, he set me up with a clinic. While there I thought I would have a conversation regarding propecia, because I've noticed hair loss lately, he also prescribes my TRT . He doesn't like propecia for obvious reasons but was willing to run bloods on my DHT level. As he was filling out the requisition he says "hair loss and tired? I'm going to check your thyroid".

Well, I check life labs results online the next day and free T3 comes back off charts low. TSH on the low side, free T4 low and ferritin also low, which is crazy because I eat a ton of red meat and have high red blood cell count.

Any one have experience with thyroids? I'm trying to gather as much info before my next visit

I supplemented with iron tabs for a month or so and I felt normal again. Since I didn’t get back for BW my observation is purely anecdotal.
