Simple enough do you eat leftovers? I am not asking if you like them (I do depending on what it is) Seems to me some of the younger generation does not like eating leftovers. And for those that do not know leftovers is food you did not eat that you put in the fridge and eat latter. Kinda like leftover pizza but this food you normally put in the fridge :)

Of course :) I basically shop at work with left overs lol. Well not really shop, but basically left over from our events or parties or w.e is going on that day. Never need to buy grocerys :)

Many foods taste even better the next day: curry, pasta, Thanksgiving turkey smothered in gravy, pizza you left on the counter (or on the floor depending on what kind of night it was), etc.

I never let good food go to waste. A sniff test is all it needs, and even then my standards are relatively low.

I do food prep usually Sundays. With a bit more on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. So more premade then left over. I guess.

I eat leftovers.. I snack on them instead of using them for a second full dinner though..

Some foods just taste terrible as left overs though.. with those foods we try to make just enoguh to eat the first time around.

my inlaws refuse to eat left over.. They give it all to the dogs or their chickens.. drives me nuts.

YES!!! Leftovers from family gathering taken home to be eaten later and of course food prep for the week is done sat/sun and it's all sitting in the fridge all week for meals to be thrown together every night. We eat everything!!! Lol Hell, foods not cheap!

I've been pushing the limits on left overs and came to realize food sanitation 101 is over rated. I've been making mass amounts of chilli and take so much to work I don't eat it all if we get to busy, so the other week my chilli was 8 days old and I i packed it for another 3 days ended up re heating the same batch 3 times in the microwave refrigerated 3 times and allowing it to go whatever outside temp was 3 times it was gtg. Also drank a milk oats whey egg white shake sitting a room temp for 2 days it was gtg.

I was with you for the chili, but the milk would have destroyed my intestines 😆

I always make extra (not counting food prep) so there are leftovers. The only issue is getting it before my son devours it for a going to bed snack.

Many things taste better after being heated up the second or third time. Though the main reason I eat them is my parents would never let food go to waste and we always ate leftovers when I lived at home and I just continued the practice. If you think about it we are truly fortunate to live in part of the world were tossing out our leftover food is actually an option. In many places there is no such thing as leftovers.

If chilli is leftover in the fridge it hardens up a bit. I would take it and spoon it into a wrap, put cheese on it, fold it up like a burrito and bake it in the oven. 180c for about 15-20 mins. The wrap gets crunchy and the chilli heats up inside and melts the cheese.

I throw away what looks or smells suspicious and I never prepare large amounts of food since I eat like a bird, so there are not many leftovers here.
