I’m not debating over academic freedom or who gets university grants because of who follows what what beliefs.
I also never once said the Great Barrier Reef was dead. You have to understand how big it and other reefs actually are. Flying over places like these will give you a better appreciation for this. Honestly it’s the only way.
However I don’t need to listen to scientists on video tell me what is and what isn’t dead.... as I’ve said.... I’ve seen what I’ve seen with my own two eyes.
Just like the other side.... everyone has an opinion as well as an agenda.
My position? Try to to good things and minimize impact of what you do. I’m far from perfect and don’t live off the grid in a grass hut without running water. I drive a car and travel by plane. Etc.etc. Etc. But dollars I spend also goes to preservation. And I am mindful of the little thing that I can do day to day that makes a difference and try not to be overly wasteful. Because again..... to think that all the shit we produce and fuck around with and/or consume needlessly doesn’t make a difference is both foolish and arrogant.
