Favorite preworkout stack?

All COX inhibitors, though, may have a direct effect on recovery. A daily aspirin may be enough to slow down muscle recovery and growth by a noticeable degree. This goes for all COX inhibitors and NSAIDs. I personally never take NSAID painkillers within the 36 hour window of a workout, where you want maximum protein synthesis.

That is of course a different subject but a valid point I believe. Can you suggest any reading on the matter?

These are the type of questions that sometimes keep me awake at night (yeah I'm a bit weird), this one got in my head and kept me up

Spent some time reading and now have the firm opinion that Aspirin will not lower normal (non fever) body temp, in fact at least one academic source suggests that their is evidence that it can raise BT. The link below lays it out better than I could ever hope to.

Now you got me thinking, so you want us to lose sleep too huh lol

I’m pretty sure I wasn’t too far off the rails, I remember this from school. But alas you got me pondering too and now after I eat I’m gonna look more into it and read the your posted link

I re-read your post and the link you posted. I said the same thing and I agreed that Aspirin will not lower the body temperature. But I do remember pretty well that it prolonged the process in which the body temperature was increased from to activity.

I took a quick look for my notes and I wasn't able to locate what I was looking for - I'm not about to start going through all my notes from almost 20 yrs ago sorry lol, I keep them stacked in boxes in storage closet. There are members here who are way more qualified to chime in because I'm eager to know. I'm just a bloke with a miniscule amount of broscience and with a vague memory from when I took Bio in Uni.

I also did a quick look on Google for any studies or research papers and noticed that the few that are done (on Aspirin for other purposes) were like a decade after my school yrs. It's very possible new studies have changed what the belief was from 20 yrs ago.

If anyone with any science or medical background can chime it would be great

I missed this post. Thanks I think you're right. I also think this is exactly why it slows down the process in which the body temp rises.

"As your muscles warm up during your workout, blood circulating through the muscles is also warmed, producing a rise in core temperature. The amount of heat your muscles produce is related to the amount of work they perform" ( https://www.livestrong.com/article/361702-why-does-body-temperature-increase-during-exercise/ )

Awww. Get out of your head!

Thank you!!

I have been playing around with what I like best for great energy and pumps in the gym. So far this is what I like best:

25mg dmaa
25mg viagra
50mg karbolyn
1 scoop of bcaa

This has been giving me insane focus and energy along with the pumps I’m looking for. Let me know what you guys like as I would love to try other preworkout protocols. This protocol I have gotten from a buddy of mine who used to be a national level competitor. He was the first person to introduce me to viagra preworkout for pumps. There is no other pump product that can compare to it.

Wow! It totally makes sense to use Viagra for that.... but it never dawned on me to try that!! Good Call Bro!
