Conventional vs Alternative Medicines?

By Conventional Medicines I mean main stream Western Medicines

For instance, heaven forbid you where diagnosed today with say Cancer would you opt for Conventional Means or would you explore Alternative Medicines?

I have chronic year round depression. I've taken every single conventional anti-depressant.

None have helped so I've opted for alternatives. Some legal some not. But my personal mental health is by far more important than following a few laws. It's life and death for me.

I would have to do a lot of research before I could answer this question. I have tried some natural things like St Johns Wort and Kratom for mood and valerian, chamomile, and other mixed herbs for sleep. St Johns Wort didn't do much at all while kratom is effective beyond my expectations. Very effective. Many people swear that they were cured from cancer with natural methods so there must be some truth to it but I would need to research before I decided what treatment i would choose

Hey! Yeah Kratom is spectacular for anxiety, pain relief, and so much else.

I actually do quite a bit of study in research chemicals. I find psychedelics to be profoundly life changing for me. I am planning on trying ketamine treatments for my depression soon as well.

I've realized that my mental health isn't the government's priority. And often drugs take years and decades before their therapeutic potential is recognized and then another five years to be approved by the FDA.

Kratom is all those things and much much more but it is also very addicting and the withdrawal symptoms are identical to any opiate withdrawal, it works on the exact same receptors.

In order for Kratom to be approved as a drug by the FDA it will take about one billion dollars of R&D so don't expect that to happen anytime soon. It'd be easier to label it an herb that way the FDA doesn't need to get involved.

Never tried Kratom can you explain how it works how to take it and how to get it if it does not violate anything here??

Kratom is legal so there's no rules broken. Reddit has a ton of info. Make sure you cover all the bases, the benefits and the negatives.

Kratom helped me tremendously, it literally made me live life again after our train wreck however I went in it not fully informed. If taken responsibly there'll be no issues but I went over board and am now paying a price. It's fixable, but I will definitely approach it with both eyes open next time round.

Always a considered educated mix of both Alternative and Medical depending on problem.Generally medical for crisis[surgery on broken bone/anti biotic for sepsis ] and alternative of most others

Btw, the lidicaine is a USA product. You can get it from amazon, but Shoppers doesn’t carry it, plus the canadian Salonpas website doesn’t list it at all.

Yep. All I can find is scrip stuff. Sorry.
