For those who have a Nespresso machine, which capsules do you buy? (not necessarily Nespresso but Nespresso compatible).

Cosi and ristretto mostly if I remember right. We haven’t used it in a while. Simple mild and strong. I don’t remember if we ever had a loungo that we liked.

I see they have coffees by origin now. The Ethiopian one would be a must try I would think. Ethiopia knows excellent coffee!

Used to drink Kuerig coffee all the time. I started getting major headaches. Stopped using the kuerig and my headaches stopped. Thought it probably isn’t good having boiling water going through all that plastic and then drinking it.
Even when I was using it everyday something never sat right with me about the whole craze of these machines. For one, its going backwards not forwards, you’re supposed to drink shitty prepackaged instant machine coffee at work when there is nothing else. Home is for lovely fresh ground/brewed coffee.
Coming from England where we mostly had instant coffee granules, real ground beans was a treat. So to replace them with those pots is backwards.
Also there is the waste issue. In today’s society everyone is so much more conscientious about creating garabage. We’re pushed to recycle, given incentives to do so or taxed more for making waste. And then out of the blue everyone is raving about these single use plastic pots that are going into the landfill.
I found this cartoon later on and it fit so perfect with how I felt.

When I'm in England all I drink is tea (a whole teapot at breakfast and several cups during the day). But when I'm home tea doesn't taste the same (must be the water) and I drink 2 cups Nespresso a day.
I will look for capsules of Ethiopian coffee, bigugly, thanks for the tip.

Phillips senseo

All issues solved and probably the best single serving coffee you will ever have!

We also use our French press quite a bit as well when a single cup just won’t do it.
