I figured I'd post this since people might find it interesting, I noticed clenbuterol messed with my blood sugars in the past but never understood why, stumbled upon this article and I think I found the answer
I read this article on beta agonists and to sum it up it says beta agonists stimulate the pancreatic beta cells to increase insulin release and beta agonists increase glucagon secretion, increase hepatic glucose production, which results in increased serum glucose levels and causes decreased insulin sensitivity
Also it mentioned that glucose stimulated insulin secretion was increased in a dose dependant manner with both clenbuterol and albuterol, but not fasting insulin levels
