I don't think anybody really considered what turning the switch back on was going to be like once they shut it off as things started to go bad with infections. So many jobs just not there anymore. Or people looking at half the hours. I just don't understand how we go from a country where everybody needs stuff so there's farming and manufacturing and retail. So much of it is just gone now.
Consumer demand has shrunk that much due to reluctance to spend and the inability to spend? They need an American type stimulus package. Dropping the damn interest rate isn't going to put people back in their jobs like it would if the economy was normal.
