Never heard of this until I read Layne Norton’s fat loss forever book. I was surprised because he doesn’t really recommend supplements that don’t work or have no strong evidence to back it up

mentioned it in his book to be one of the rare natural supplements that causes weight loss without dietary changes

If I recall correctly he said it works through increasing proton leakage (im guessing similar to dnp?)

The patented formula is xanthigen which is brown marine algae fucoxanthin + pomegranate seed oil

i ended up getting a few bottles, was curious if anyone’s tried it?

"resulted in statistically significant reduction of body weight (5.5 +/- 1.4 kg NAFLD group and 4.9 +/- 1.2 kg NLF group, p < 0.05"

"The patients, as a whole, did achieve some weight loss; however, the weight

loss was attributed to diet, exercise, and frequent accountability instead of the Xanthigen supplement. "

id pass on this.
