A public service announcement.

Thank you for reminding me of this important issue... it can slip the mind how hard some people have it... and it’s especially sad/important when it’s children.

I didn’t automatically think that giving blood was a way to help, but fortunately I’m donating in about a hour... coincidentally.

Again, thanks for the awareness.

Good call.

Interesting story...but here goes.

I was in a shit place maybe 6 years ago.
Feeling sorry for myself and being a bit of a bitch.

I was randomly watching a TV in a shop and saw an interview with a 9 yr old cancer patient.

The interviewer asks her how she felt (was winter time and she was on Chemo)
She said "It feels like I'm on fire while freezing, but I'm alive and here today, so I'm great.... you dont know what tomorow will bring"

These kids are so tough as fuck ans brave, we have no excuses.
If they are out there kicking life in the face, so can we.

Pulled me right out if my slump and i got my shit together.
Was inspiring.

I always donate to sick kids specifically, they do such amazing work there.

Sort of on topic... I read a facebook post the other day that was about the odds of you actually being born... The odds are so friggin small of you even existing that we are all bascially a miracale.. So when your going through shit, keep in mind how damn incredible it is that you were given the opportunity to even exist.

cool read
