Lol noooo.. I missed that MRI cause I started work that day. I think its rebooked for Nov. Knee MRI next month.

Just got the ultrasound done. Trying to get someone to bring me some egg whites. I cant eat what the hospital gave me. Looks awful. And itll turn my stomach upside down.

Why cant they put just a little effort into the food. I dont want carbs all day. Fukk. I'd rather starve..

If I recall correctly all the food contracts are farmed out to 'caterers'. They make hundreds of the same meals based on normal nutritional values per day. Gone are the cafeterias that feed the staff and patients. It pretty much sucks if you want good stuff unless you go in with a bona fide nutritional need diet. You would most certainly get a specialized diet if you need it. I was so tired of the portions. Luckily my wife is a nurse (I listed her as my private nurse) and she brought me extra food. I couldn't convince her to bring me a beer though.

I brought my own food but, i only brought enough for one stay.

then i had to do groceries so, not much was prepped left over. my sister brought me eggs, rice, and yogurt for sunday. monday, i was a little shit out of luck. i ate the french toast and cereal for carbs, the lunch was just god awful. then dinner, i had the meat loaf - just the meat, even though it tasted like cardboard, i needed some calories. I got home and had a shitty sugary greek yogurt and went to bed.

so far, i've had rice this morning and my pain pills. did some more online shopping. trying to take it easy but, i do have things to do. already got into a argument with my mother so, i won't be getting much help, if any help from her.

i'ma little doped up right now, i'm gonna sleep for a half hour, then get my list rolling and do my errands.

i feel like walking is hurting my incisions but, what am i gonna do? can i put pollysporn on them? I have 3. one in the belly button, one near my ovary (very tiny) and then, right where they would cut for a c section. that's going to be a horrible scar, not happy but, whatever. just another thing to add to my self conscious list lol

I wouldn't put anything on your incision that isn't cleared by the nurse or doc.

I didnt put anything on it. I didnt have time to make calls today so. Tomorrow morning when I make my 6wk appointment, I'll ask. Still trying to catch up at home. At least I dont need to really food prep for myself. And my sons lunches are good for now. Just gotta clean and get 1 more meal in.

I just checked with a nurse for you and she suggests you leave it alone.
Polysporin is kinda crappy anyway. What you want to have around the house is a Triple-A cream. Three antibiotics in it instead of two. Polysporin may make that now.

I'll look into that. Thank you! I just get worried for infection.

Still having a hard time going to the bathroom. I hope today I can go.

Well, follow up appointment is in Nov.

Trying to keep busy.. did laundry and some meal prep. About to call it a day.

I'm down to 148lbs

My friend works in a pharmacy and she gave me some a while ago for a few scars I had. Which worked. I asked if she could get me some, it's on back order.

I called shoppers, apparently, they cant get any?

I have an American friend seeing if he can get it for me over there.

I asked when I could start scar care she said after its healed so, probably another 2 weeks. I dont want to look at it. It upsets me.

Google your area for a compounding pharmacy and ask if they can make some for you. As far as I can ascertain that s the only way you will get up here. That or wait for your friend. If you can't get it, Vitamin E cream works well.
There is a certain irony about scars in that they are a badge of honour for guys and women don't like them. Kinda sucks, eh?

Lmfao listen. I wear my scars as a badge of honor, just depends how I got it.

But you know that c section scar heals all fucking deformed and, I know igll happen to me. So that scar, can go 'git gone

I use something called Cicaplast..... I use for tattoo after care, but it is a microdermal regeneration gel/lotion that was originally for regrowing tissue on burn victims. It's $19 OTC at almost any pharmacy..... in the beauty section..... I've used it cuts etc too, and it works like a charm.....

I picked vitamin e up. I cant put it on just yet but I can add that to it as well. Worst case I get the pharm grade if this OTC doesnt work. I need some anyways, I have a scar on my neck I want gone. And one on my hip still
