Problems in the bedroom aren’t any fun - but it happens to the best of us at some point in our lives. But if you’ve had enough of little blue pills, nighttime frustrations and pissed off partners - it might be time to look for the reasons that are causing it.
Luckily for you - we’ve got a collection of reasons that might be contributing to your misbehaving member:
1. You’ve piled on a couple of pounds
Be honest with yourself and take a look in the mirror to see what you’re looking like. If you’re overweight/obese then the chances are that the penis problems are directly related. When you put on weight, your overall testosterone levels dip and with that dip comes a loss of libido and softer erections with them.
It’s less than ideal, but it can be cured - well - worked out. The solution is simple and as much as you might not like it - it’s going to involve exercise and healthy eating to get a better shape, a better weight and to get those test levels to a much better state.
It might be a good idea to get your testosterone levels checked out while you’re at it too - especially if you’re hitting the wrong side of 40. It might be the case that HRT might be the natural next step if your manhood is letting you down when you need it most.
2. Your sleep leaves a lot to be desired
Working a lot, playing FIFA all night or staying up to watch the UFC are all things we’ve done, but if you’re not getting anywhere near enough sleep then there might be more than just the one bedroom problem. Not getting enough rest throws off the hormones in the body - this isn’t good - whereas regular rest and plenty of z’s means that the balance is reset - this is good.
If this resonates with you then you’re probably who we wrote it for and chances are that a little more sleep will not only make your sex life better - but improve other elements in your life too. From bits are pieces from concentration and focus to exercise and mood - everything is related to sleep. There’s a reason they say to get 8 hours a night.
3. Anxiety and depression
Last but not least is one of the more personal reasons - and it’s one that we’re taking very seriously. Anxiety and depression can be the cause of so many issues - and performance in the bedroom is unfortunately one of them.
We’re not going to give any homegrown remedies for this one - but instead urge you to speak to someone if there’s any sort of depression thoughts and anxiety issues. Friends and family are good to talk to and doctors can prescribe medication to not only improve your mood - but get your flump back in action at a rapid rate.
