The only travesty in this entire thread is you fuckers inferring bad things about Starbucks.

I’m sorry..... but I love that shit.

Black bold roast.... just like King likes his boyfriends....

Black bold roast,no problem. What if you haven't had one yet and the person in front of you wants to start with some fussy coffee?:)

Cozumel is pretty damn good. Good shark dives. Not my favourite but definitely pretty great diving. Safer than it used to be as well.

Some reefs are no doubt coming back in some places. Some are still pretty pristine. The last truly great diving I did was in Belize. There’s parts of the barrier reef there (world’s second largest) that have been protected since the early 50’s. Mother Nature is as brutal as she is resilient.

Still overall there’s a ton that’s been lost though.

Not the same video, but here is a professor that based most of his research on the reefs. He actually lost his job for pointing out that others were wrong.
Please watch to the end, you should find it interesting

Not to bash on teachers more (sorry @animal-inside ) I can only speak for Ontario. Through my experience when I went to school, science was not biased at that point. Most other subjects yes they were biased. The problem with “facts” is that most facts presented are skewed to fit an agenda. Look at the gun crime numbers they spit out. The chose a record low year then graph from there to show an upwards trend. Meanwhile if you expand out we acutely have a downwards trend. So facts can be skewed to suit a certain agenda.

I remember clearly being told my parents were bad people if they voted for the Harris government. I remember being told by a teacher that he won’t have a job and won’t be able to feed his family if my parents voted conservative.

Politics has its place being taught in classrooms I’m not saying it doesn’t. But teach it based on facts not opinion or what keeps your cushy job even cushier. Teachers will always vote liberal because liberals will constantly hand out more and run huge deficits with no thought about the consequences.

No better example of why people are beginning to turn on teachers was yesterday. In Ontario the teachers union went out and stated publicly that 1% raise is really a cut to their wages.... no wonder our kids can’t do math. At the union numbers of 86+k a year average pay they aren’t doing horrible.

Maybe we need to teach teachers about fiscal responsibility, they keep talking about wanting more personal finance in schools (which is great) but I laugh because no matter how conservative a teacher may be, they’ll always push liberal agendas to get better paid.

I’m not debating over academic freedom or who gets university grants because of who follows what what beliefs.

I also never once said the Great Barrier Reef was dead. You have to understand how big it and other reefs actually are. Flying over places like these will give you a better appreciation for this. Honestly it’s the only way.

However I don’t need to listen to scientists on video tell me what is and what isn’t dead.... as I’ve said.... I’ve seen what I’ve seen with my own two eyes.

Just like the other side.... everyone has an opinion as well as an agenda.

My position? Try to to good things and minimize impact of what you do. I’m far from perfect and don’t live off the grid in a grass hut without running water. I drive a car and travel by plane. Etc.etc. Etc. But dollars I spend also goes to preservation. And I am mindful of the little thing that I can do day to day that makes a difference and try not to be overly wasteful. Because again..... to think that all the shit we produce and fuck around with and/or consume needlessly doesn’t make a difference is both foolish and arrogant.

I can deal with the average frappa-kappa-lappa half sweet half cafe double hot bs..... it’s the soccer mom sporting the Louis Vuitton driving the 120k Mercedes suv asking about 16 different drinks like it’s the first time she’s been in there that drives me crazy. If they check their phone while ordering... it’s shit show time! She will be told that her instagram followers can’t wait to be updated on her coffee order until she is waiting at the bar.

So.... wouldnt be the first scene I’ve caused... wont be the last! Lol.

Never said it didn't. But my point is a lot of stuff get overhyped.
I to do little things to help the enviroment. Its all the little things that add up to a big difference

Well everyone has a position and will usually go as far as they can to prove it. Truths usually fall somewhere in the middle of either side of each argument! 😊

True enough. If you did watch it though, I like the part about how there is a rule that scientists are wrong 50% of the time. Well that was pretty much what started his downhill spiral to being let go, lol.
It does shock me though all the retiring professors and scientists that are now talking about how things are being overblown. And they have the data to prove it.
Mind you I have no control over what agenda is being pushed.
I'm just hoping the Reef a Cozumel is better, last time I was there 3 years ago it was badly damaged by some hurricane.

Trudeau said it right today, never put out your platform on a Friday at 6 pm on a long weekend.:)

Wonder what kind of reaction this little twat will receive in Alberta this week.
Also how the media will spin it.
You ain’t welcome in this province Bitch

A mural of Greta lasted two days before being defaced by another artist....

Whoo, hoo Trudeau. He won again.
Damn I really hope he doesn't bring in the 25% meat tax he promised. This is the only job I know, lol.
